Let the birthday week begin!!

Nate always teases me that when my birthday rolls around it turns into a week long celebration. So like clock work the other night he asked where I wanted dinner and I asked to go to my favorite restaurant El Sol (Nate can't stand to eat there because there salsa is like tomato paste) so I knew he was being sweet when he offered stating it could begin my birthday week :)
Then tonight my parents took my twin brother Don and I out to dinner at the La Tienda on the Idaho Border and randomly my mom asked if we had ever bought lottery tickets and surprisingly no one at the table had. So she gave us 20 bucks to split and go buy lottery cards. Not being a big gambler I let my twin pick out my half of the loot with my hubby.
After scratching off a ridiculous amount of circles (this kind of gambling takes great patience) I only won 2 bucks lol


Don however won ten dollars


traded that in for more bingo cards won only 5 back and then by the end wound up with nothing. So I was the winner winer chicken dinner but I wish I would have kept my half of the twenty. I guess you win some you loose some :)

Witches Night Out

What a fun weekend! For the first time ever we attended Witches Night Out at Gardner's Village in West Jordan. I carefully picked out baby girls outfit I bought the witch pants at Old Navy and the cute Witch hat was also from Old Navy and I clipped it off the plastic headband and onto a hair barrette then attached it to a soft elastic headband for her to wear.
Her onesie was decorated at her baby shower by Taush (Nates sister) I love the cluster of buttons :)
